The SA Amateur Football League Inc. was formed in 1911 and provides, and promotes, opportunities for all people to participate in Australian Rules football in an accessible and safe environment. The League has 66 clubs, 222 teams and 20,000 registered players and officials, and is one of the largest Australian Football Leagues in Australia.
The League currently provides competition across 8 Senior divisions with Reserves grades, accompanied by a separate C grade competition, ranging from Divisions 1 to 4. There are also two under 18 divisions: red and yellow divided by area.
